The First Trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past

It has arrived. 20th Century Fox has released the first official trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past. The expectations for Bryan Singer’s latest entry in the giant franchise, after X-Men and X2, are certainly quite high – and with good reason. After the shocking halt to form that was X-Men: The Last Stand and X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the franchise picked up with X-Men: First Class and this year’s The Wolverine. We’re pleased to announce that the first trailer doesn’t disappoint. It manages to pack plenty of teaser moments while ensuring it all comes across as epic and serious as possible, even Hans Zimmer’s borrowed score is used to great effect.

At its most basic plotline: Wolverine gets his consciousness sent back in time to help the First Class team stop the Sentinels from rising.
