‘Transformers: War For Cybertron Trilogy’ Trailer: Autobots v Decepticons in Netflix Anime Series

Take a look at the trailer that’s arrived for Transformers: War for Cybertron: Siege, the first part of a three-season anime series that Netflix and Hasbro, Inc. created in partnership with Rooster Teeth Animation.

Seige will kick off in the final hours of the war between the Autobots and Decepticons. With both sides determined to save Cybertron on their own terms, Megatron finds himself forced to consider using the Allspark, Cybertron’s life and power source, to unify both sides by “reformating” the Autobots.

The animation looks great, the designs are mighty close to the Siege toys, and the tone is decidedly serious. Very keen for this, even if we don’t have Peter Cullen back as the voice of Optimus Prime. Check out the trailer, which had its debut at Hasbro’s Brand Entertainment Preview Event over the weekend.

Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy: Siege, which will hold six 22-minute episodes, will be hitting Netflix soon.

Official synopsis Transformers: War For Cybertron Trilogy:

It is the final hours of the devastating civil war between the Autobots and Decepticons. The war that has torn apart their home planet of Cybertron is at a tipping point. Two leaders, Optimus Prime and Megatron, both want to save their world and unify their people, but only on their own terms. In an attempt to end the conflict, Megatron is forced to consider using the Allspark, the source of all life and power on Cybertron, to “reformat” the Autobots, thus “unifying” Cybertron. Outnumbered, outgunned, and under SIEGE, the battle-weary Autobots orchestrate a desperate series of counterstrikes on a mission that, if everything somehow goes right, will end with an unthinkable choice: kill their planet in order to save it.
