The game of “Truth or Dare” gets a hell of a lot more troubling in the upcoming horror-thriller from Blumhouse Productions (Get Out, Split).

Truth or Dare stars Lucy Hale (Pretty Little Liars) and Tyler Posey (Teen Wolf) and follows a group of friends that find themselves being taken out, one by one, when they refuse to tell a lie or take a dare.

It’s the type of concept that banks on how creative the set pieces, scares and death scenes are, so fingers crossed this one delivers the goods. The trailer shows off what looks like an energetic, entertaining teen horror pic, with CG-enhanced freaky faces and some brutal-looking Final Destination-esque kills. We’ll see.

Truth or Dare, directed by Kick-Ass 2 helmer Jeff Wadlow, who has also co-written the screenplay alongside Jillian Jacobs, Michael Reisz and Christopher Roach, will be opening in the US on April 27 and arrives in Australia on May 3.
