Watch: ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ Tease Has Chris Pratt and a Baby Raptor

Yeh, that’s cute and all… just watch those fingers, Chris.

A quick teaser video has been released online hyping up Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Universal’s upcoming sequel to the massive 2015 hit.

“From our Jurassic family to yours,” the film’s director, J.A. Bayona (The Orphanage, The Impossible, A Monster Calls) posted on social media, captioning a video of Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady hanging out with a baby raptor.

Take a look:

It’s certainly a quick little teaser; perhaps we’re getting the first trailer soon?

Bryce Dallas Howard is also returning to the film, reprising her role as Claire Dearing. The extended cast includes James Cromwell, Ted Levine, Justice Smith, Geraldine Chaplin, Daniella Pineda, Toby Jones, and Rafe Spall. And yes, Jeff “must go faster” Goldblum is making his return to the franchise as Ian Malcolm, and BD Wong is once again on board as well.

Jurassic World made an astonishing $US1.67 billion worldwide, and it’s currently the fourth-highest grossing film ever made. Like, ever. It’s a win for Universal if this next one does even half as well.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, written by Jurassic World scribes Colin Trevorrow (who directed that one) and Derek Connolly, will arrive in Australia on June 21 and open in US cinemas June 22, 2018.
