The trailer has arrived for What If…?, the upcoming Disney+ animated series that will be expanding the Marvel multiverse waaaay further than we’ve been seeing in Loki. We’re going to see some of the biggest events that have taken place in the Marvel Universe reimagined, with spins given to an array of the MCU’s biggest players, from Doctor Strange to Hulk.

The ambitious series was made with the help of one massive voice cast, with the likes of Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Josh Brolin, Hayley Atwell, Jeremy Renner, Paul Rudd, Natalie Portman, Michael Douglas, Michael B. Jordan, Sebastian Stan, Michael Rooker, Tom Hiddleston, and Chadwick Boseman (making T’Challa his final performance) all reprising their live-action roles.

Jeffrey Wright voices The Watcher, the Marvel Comics character that will serve as narrator. In the comics, he is a member of an extraterrestrial species who, in the distant past, stationed themselves across space to monitor the activities of other species. “I observe all that transpires here,” we hear him say in the trailer below. “But I do not, cannot, will not interfere.”

The series is directed by Bryan Andrews, who’s worked as a storyboard artist on a number of Marvel films and whose previous animation directing credits include Jack Chan Adventures and Men in Black: The Series. On board as head writer is A.C. Bradley, whose credits include CW series Arrow and Netflix CG-animated series Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia & 3Below: Tales of Arcadia.

Mark the date: What If…? will premiere on Disney+ on August 11th.
